Refund Policy - the basics
RETURNS
We want you to love your new earrings! However, if they’re not the perfect item, we offer full cash refunds or exchanges within 7 days of delivery.
OUR POLICY
All refunds remain at the discretion of Kaleido Dot Creations.
We accept returns under the following conditions:

The item must have been purchased through our online store.

The return or exchange request must be made within 7 days of delivery.

Items must be unworn, unwashed, in the original packaging, and in a condition suitable for resale. Used, laundered, or customer-damaged goods cannot be returned.
Each return will be thoroughly inspected upon receipt and processed only if it meets our return standards. If an item is returned in an unsuitable condition, we may have to send it back to you.
PLEASE NOTE: Kaleido Dot Creations does not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges on sale items, discounted purchases, or gift vouchers.
Customer responsibility:

Return shipping is at the cost and liability of the purchaser.

Returns must be sent using reliable, recorded delivery. We cannot process refunds for items lost during return shipping.
Defective items:

In the unlikely event of a manufacturing defect, please notify us within 24 hours of receiving your order by emailing kaleidodot@gmail.com. Be sure to include photo evidence to support your replacement request.

If your item is defective, we will replace or refund it at no cost to you. Please follow the instructions below to initiate the return, and we’ll arrange for collection by our courier. Once we inspect the defective item, we’ll either issue a replacement or a refund. If the item is out of stock, we’ll provide a full refund or store credit, as you prefer.
HOW TO RETURN YOUR ITEM

Email us at kaleidodot@gmail.com to notify us of your return and provide a brief reason (e.g. findings damaged, colour not as expected). We value your feedback!
Please include the following in your email:
· Email address
· Phone number
· Order number
· The items you wish to return
You will get a confirmation email with the shipping guidelines once the return request is approved.

Package the item with all original tags and packaging included. Please add your order number and name.
Note: If the original tags and packaging are not included, a small fee may be deducted from your refund.

Once we receive your return in good condition, we’ll contact you to discuss your options. For refunds, we’ll request your bank details.
EXCHANGES
If you need a different colour or style, we’re happy to assist based on stock availability. Follow the same return process and specify if you’d prefer an exchange. Once we receive the item in its original packaging and condition, we’ll process your request and your new item will be sent to you at the applicable shipping rate.
PROMOTION AND DISCOUNT CODES
Items purchased with discount codes, promotional offers, or on sale are not eligible for refunds, returns, or exchanges.
SALE ITEMS
Sale items are non-refundable and not eligible for store credit.
Returns and Reimbursement

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase due to a defect, incorrect product choice or other reason, you may return it to Kaleido Dot Creations within 7 days of delivery. We will however need you to return the item to us via courier before we can arrange for a credit. Once we receive the item, we'll email you your credit note. This credit note will however not include your original shipping cost. If the problem was caused by reasons other than material quality, assembly process, incorrect usage or care of the product (not following the prescribed wash care instructions) the original product will be returned to you.
Defective Products

General warranty: If, within 1 month after delivery of a product to you find that the product is defective/faulty, unsuitable for the purpose generally intended (or otherwise expressly indicated by Kaleido Dot Creations at time of purchase), or not legal or reasonably durable; you can arrange to return such product to Kaleido Dot Creations for inspection in accordance with the returns procedure above, and the product is subsequently found to indeed be defective, you are entitled to either
(a) be fully refunded, or
(b) have the product repaired or replaced at Kaleido Dot Creations expense.

The decision between repairing or replacing is that of Kaleido Dot Creations depending on availability and other relevant circumstances, and in this regard you acknowledge that Sale/On Special products will usually only be able to be repaired.

If the product is found NOT to be defective, you will NOT be entitled to any repair, replacement or refund but will instead be liable for the costs incurred in having such product returned to Kaleido Dot Creations and then redelivered to you.

When is a product defective? Please note: the following are examples of things which will NOT be regarded as defects and will NOT entitle you to any repair, replacement or refund under the general warranty above: faults resulting from normal wear and tear; damage arising from incorrect usage or care of the product (not following the prescribed care instructions).
